A nurturing place for your precious baby

Yambo is a place where your baby will experience secure and caring relationships with their qualified educator. Your baby will learn to socialise with others and explore through play, with a flexible routine to suit their daily needs.

Our Yambo room caters for babies and toddlers up to 2 years of age and provides one qualified educator to every four babies to ensure your child feels cared for and safe at all times.

Yambo

The Program

In the Yambo room, your baby will enjoy a nurturing, caring and safe environment with a range of stimulating experiences so they can learn and grow every day.

Routines are important for babies, so we keep to the same routines you have at home, ensuring your baby feels secure with their usual feeding and sleeping times. At pick up time, you can check the daily chart to see your baby’s meals, sleep, bottle and nappy change times, as well as our day book with photos to show you what your little one has been up to during the day.

We follow the Early Years Learning Framework, encouraging your baby to develop self-help skills as they grow from baby to toddler. Learning through play is a big part of our philosophy, and your baby will explore the natural environment them by playing with sand, mud, grass and water. In the colder months, we’ll give your child an outdoor waterproof suit so they can continue to play in all weather conditions.

In the Yambo room, we welcome your input and involvement in helping us to understand your baby’s cultural background and your family needs. We’ll work together to ensure your baby will build their confidence, interests and development through a nurturing relationship with their educator.
