At Camden Park Child Care Centre, your child will be cared for by dedicated and qualified educators in a nurturing environment that will be their home away from home. Our team will lead your child on a daily journey of discovery in each of our dedicated learning rooms.

Our four rooms are perfectly suited to nurture your child at each stage of their development. From our babies in Yambo to our preschoolers in Tarro-Tarro, your child will explore and learn in a supportive and caring environment.

Yambo

(Dolphin)

Babies to 2 years Caters for babies and toddlers up to 2 years of age. The legal ratio is one Educator to every four babies and toddlers in this room.

2 year olds Caters for children from 2-3 years. The legal ratio in this room is one Educator to every five children.

Our staff

The Centre boasts a multicultural staff team comprising over one hundred years of experience between them. Many of our staff holds more than one qualification along with many other skills and talents.

Staff cultural workshops

Japan

Your child has an opportunity to engage in Japanese culture by learning the language through songs and learning the techniques of origami.

China

Your child can explore the heritage and traditions of Chinese culture through language and celebrating special events and holidays.

Turkey

Your child can experience Turkish culture by learning the basic movements of belly dance and making hips scarfs.

India

Your child will learn about the traditions of India by cooking curries and naan bread. They’ll also learn about Indian celebrations, clothing and language.

Your child's learning and wellbeing

Sustainability and cooking

Our centre is a member of the little green steps program and sustainability is embedded into our daily life with activities such as growing vegetables to use for cooking.

Visual art

Your child will have opportunities to explore visual arts processes with the guidance of an educator with a Bachelor of Arts degree. This is included on our extracurricular calendar.

Music and singing

All children regularly gather together to have group singing and musical instrument experiences. This is included on our extracurricular calendar.

Fitness and activity

Teaching your child about what makes a healthy body and lifestyle is important to us. We offer a child-friendly fitness program developed in conjunction with one of our educators who is also a qualified personal trainer.
